Canada’s Wonderland

Canada’s Wonderland is Canada’s largest amusement park, boasting over 65 mind-blowing rides and a 20-acre water park. The parks exhilarating rides and roller coasters are the best in North America.

Roller Coasters

The Behemoth is the biggest and fastest roller coaster in the country. The open air seating and speeds of up to 125km/hour will have your adrenaline pumping. The Mighty Canadian Minebuster is the longest wooden roller coaster in Canada. The quick turns, bumps and drops of the wooden track will have you digging your nails into the hand rail. Experience the thrill of flying on the Time Warp – the only flying coaster in Canada.

Family Rides

If you’re not a fan of roller coasters there’s plenty of less heart racing rides. Soar through the air on what can only be described as an oversized, suspended swing set. Hop on the carousel for a spin on a beautiful, handcrafted wooden horse. Twirl until you can’t twirl anymore on the Spinovator. Beware of sea sickness on the The Rage, a pirate ship that rocks back and forth like you’re caught in a nautical storm.

The Water Park

Get out of the heat and cool off in the water park. Let Splash Works be your answer to those unbearably hot summer days. Both kids and adults will have fun beating the heat in this wet and wild paradise. Relax and float down the quarter-mile Lazy River in your own personal inner tube. Catch some waves at White Water Bay. Dive head first into the Black Hole, a four-story slide covered in darkness. Get sucked into the Barracuda Blaster and spiral around the giant water bowl before being flushed out into the Lazy River. Let the kids run free through an aquatic playground at the Pump House.

Shops and Souvenirs

If souvenirs are what you’re after you won’t have a difficult time finding them – there are shops scattered all around the park. The Gift Emporium, located conveniently close to the exit/entrance, has the best selection of Canada’s Wonderland related gifts. Directly across the way is the Sweet Shoppe, where you can stock up on all the candy you need to satisfy your sweet tooth. You can also get your fill of candy in KidZville. Be cautious when taking your children here because they’re guaranteed to leave on a sugar high.

Dining

When you’re feeling low on energy and need to put some pep back in your step refuel at one of the park’s many eating establishments. Whether you just want a light snack or a full meal there are plenty of food options for every appetite. Grab a slice at the Ristorante. Drop a quarter into the jukebox at Coaster’s, a 50’s style diner, and enjoy a good old fashioned burger. For dessert stop by Alphorn for a famously delicious funnel cake. Guests can also bring along their own food and enjoy a picnic at the public picnic pavilion located just outside the front gates.
